Dedicated Support for Trauma & Abuse Recovery

Your safety, your voice, your pace.

I know how difficult it can be to reach out when you’ve experienced trauma.

My practice in Aberdeen is built on the belief that a safe, trusting relationship is the foundation of healing.

When you have experienced the weight of abuse or the suffocating nature of coercive control, your sense of self can feel fragmented. My primary focus is to help you navigate the journey of trauma recovery in a space where you are finally the one in control.

As a Person-Centred therapist with six years of experience in private practice, I don’t believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. I believe that healing happens when you are truly seen and heard without judgment. My role is to stand alongside you as you process your experiences, helping you untangle the complexities of the past and reclaim your autonomy.

A Foundation of Specialist Expertise

While our work together is deeply personal and one-to-one, it is informed by years of specialist experience in the trauma sector. My background includes:

  • Clinical Depth: Six years of dedicated private practice and experience as an EAP provider.

  • Specialist Advocacy: Extensive work with HSTAR SCIO Healed Scars Trauma Abuse Recovery https://www.hstar-scotland.org/

  • Community Leadership: Serving as a Trustee for Own Woman SCIO and supporting women’s groups in Aberdeen.

How We Work Together

In our sessions, there is no pressure to "perform" or rush your healing. We work at a pace that feels safe for you. Whether we are addressing the immediate aftermath of a crisis or the long-term effects of systemic abuse, my focus remains entirely on your individual needs and your right to a life free from control.

Ready to take the first step? Reaching out is often the hardest part of the process. I offer a confidential, trauma-informed space for us to connect and discuss how I can support your unique path to recovery. [Book a Consultation / Contact Me]
